Boyish Jeans : 

Boyish Jeans is a collection of sustainable women's denim founded by California native, Jordan Nodarse. Designed in Los Angeles, each collection is centered on vintage silhouettes with a modern update, all available at an attainable price point. inspired by the stylish women who often describe their personal style as "Boyish", the brand utilizes men's fabrics and fits tailored for a woman's body when creating all collections. Boyish focuses on product quality, fit, and authentic washes to create styles reminiscent of your favorite pair of vintage jeans with an updated, fresh design and feminine fit.

At the core of all Boyish collections lies a deep commitment to leaving as little impact on the earth as possible.  Boyish Jeans' efforts in sustainable fashion include working with ethical factories, using less harmful chemicals during the dyeing process, utilizing one-third of the amount of water typically needed to produce a pair of jeans, and working exclusively with recycled fabrics and materials for everything put out by the brand.

Doing its part to reduce waste in one of the most polluting industries in the world - fashion, Boyish Jeans aims to set the standard for production practices and encourage others to join in the movement. A brand that feels good to buy and even better to wear, the only impact Boyish leaves on the planet is good jeans.

Whimsy + Row:

Whimsy + Row was founded in 2014 with the intention of creating an eco-conscious brand that was both high quality, and made for the modern woman. Made in limited run batches in Los Angeles, all Whimsy + Row products are made under ethical conditions, using locally sourced deadstock textiles and materials. 

Whimsy + Row clothing is meant to last, meaning it holds its shape, and only gets more comfortable the longer you have it. Low impact fabrics like linen, viscose, tencel, and rayon are chosen for their biodegradable qualities, and take far less water to produce. Whimsy + Row tries to have as little waste as possible, meaning they use leftover fabrics to create tops and bandanas, meaning less waste in the landfills. The brand also uses no water in the production of their clothing, meaning more water for humans, plants, and animals. 

By Signe: 

At By Signe they strive for honest and sustainable fashion without compromise. The entire design process is sustainably fulfilled as the main collection is produced in the brands own socially responsible atelier in Turkey. Founded in the spring of 2019, ‘Moon Tekstil’ is the first of its kind; an ethical- and socially responsible manufacturing facility in Turkey build on European principles, applying positive changes directly to the lives of the employees and honoring the handcraft of manufacturing in a safe and healthy environment.

When selecting materials, they strive for all fabrics to be organic and certified by ‘The Global Organic Textile Standard’ (GOTS) which is recognized as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. GOTS defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.

At the final step of the production, each individual piece of clothing is packed in biodegradable bags and all paper and cardboard- accessories such as hangtags and final packaging will be made from recycled cardboard only. When they print catalogues and notes, the paper is recycled, and the print is Co2 neutral.

Girlfriend Collective:

Girlfriend Collective is a Seattle-based women's activewear line, with transparency and design being the main pillars of the label. Working with ethical partners across all aspects of the business, this covers everything from the use of eco-friendly fabrics (e.g. each pair of leggings is made from 25 recycled water bottles) to the responsible manufacturing of each garment in a factory in Vietnam with certified fair trade and socially responsible practices. High-end fit and feel is not a matter of cost, it's a matter of time. The label ensures every single design is beautiful so it can become a core piece of your everyday wardrobe. Outstanding quality, perfectly cut  and in cool, fresh colour-ways. 

Girlfriend Collective strives to be completely transparent about each step of their process, from where they source the post-consumer water bottles that go into their biodegradable leggings, to the health insurance policies provided to their factory workers.
